The Uncle Wayne’s Story

Arkansas State Champion, Dwayne Hunt has a passion for cooking, especially for friends and family.   The name "Uncle Wayne" was affectionately given to him by his nieces and nephews. Dwayne is always experimenting with new recipes and taste profiles.  

After winning the Arkansas State Championship Steak Cookoff and ranking in the top 25 Ancillary Cooks in the Nation, Dwayne collaborated with STEAK TANK to create our new line of Uncle Wayne’s seasonings. The seasoning formulation has won many national awards, including #1 Pork Rub in the Nation at the 2024 NBBQA!  The new Fajita recently won 3rd in Seafood and 5th overall at the BBQ News Rubs of Honor.
